• This course emphasises on the application of concepts and theories the students have learnt from other courses. Students are expected to identify a construction project and make an in-depth study of various on-site operations. The study consist of but not restricted to project description, overall organisation, design, construction plan, and detailed construction activities.

CAD and BIM in Construction

• This course emphasises on the practical use of CAD software. It introduces students to the basic and advanced editing tools used in AutoCAD as well as REVIT. This basic introduction enables students to understand construction drawings and helps them to communicate with engineers and architects during a construction project.

Construction Project Management

• The course introduces the concepts and practical aspects of construction project management of planning, scheduling, and production processes. It also discusses the roles, duties, and responsibilities of the project manager in the development process. Quantity Surveying Practice

• This course develops the students’ ability in measuring building quantities for proposed construction projects and estimating of construction costs for contract bidding and cost control purposes.
