The purpose of this course is to introduce the key tasks in the daily work of the banking industry in Australia and New Zealand through classroom learning and simulation.

At the end of the course, students will be fully aware of the banking and financial industry processes in the real working environment. They will be able to enhance their professional skills and strengthen their job competitiveness.

Financial Analysts and Financial Planners from four major Australian banks and Global Top 10 financial institutions will use the most advanced teaching philosophy and scientific teaching methods to connect with their industry experience and teach financial practice.

Our course is specifically aimed towards first-time employees, focusing on possible problems they might encounter at work and how to tackle them effectively. We ensure our students will comprehensively understand the finance industry in the shortest possible time and be ready to move forward in their careers.

In a total of five parts, the course content covers the practical use of hard skills and communication and the exchange of soft power, according to the specific job.

The first part is a brief overview of the financial markets and industries in Australia and New Zealand. The latest data will give you an initial picture of the status and prospects of the local financial markets.

The second part focuses on Superannuation, using practical cases to allow for a better understanding of how the fund management industry operates in Australia and New Zealand.

In the third part, you will learn about financial planning business, and financial planning practice from a Financial Planner’s point of view. The fourth part will introduce the retail banking business, including loans, clearing, exchange, investment and financial management and a series of financial services.

The last part will be centred around improving your soft skills for the workplace; for example: polishing your resume, interview preparation and career development consulting. The whole curriculum has been structured from the perspective of the financial industry professionals in Australia and New Zealand.
