School of Nursing, Kurji Holy Family Hospital, Patna, Bihar was established in the year 1940 in Padari ki Haveli, Patna City. In the year 1979 ANM training was started. In 2011, School of Nursing was upgraded to College of Nursing with the beginning of Post Basic BSc. Nursing, affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, Bihar and in the year 2013, started Basic BSc. Nursing with 40 seats.
In the year 2020, College of Nursing has been upgraded with 60 seat in Basic B.Sc Nursing and ANM, GNM, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing have been closed. “Aspire to inspire” Yes! Each one aspires to become a Nurse and her role is to inspire lives of others by their compassionate care and loving touch.
The College of Nursing is situated in the Hospital campus. The excellent team of faculty members are well experienced and committed to train the nurses who will give quality nursing care and education to the humanity. Having a Parent hospital in campus is indeed a blessing, which gives ample opportunity for students to have clinical skills and standards of practice.

In the year 2022, the basic b.sc nursing courses has been started as semester system , comprising of 8 semester. this gives ample opportunity to students to learn through simulation based education and update and upgrade themselves with current practice of evidence based nursing, which is inclusive of OSCE/OSPE.
The aim of the undergraduate nursing program is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurse and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
