This Basic Fire Fighting is about learning the fundamentals of how fires act, and how one should react. Your staff will be prepared to manage and extinguish workplace.
Fire Fighting training is offered by Transvaal Training Northwest. Transvaal Training Northwest is a training provider that specialises in the disciplines of lifting machines, earthmoving and mining equipment, safety, driver skill and soft skills.
Basic Fire Fighting (F1) is a course – designed to equip learners with the knowledge and necessary skills to manage and extinguish a fire in the home or office environment, using a variety of skills and various firefighting equipment covered during the course.
This comprehensive SAQA aligned course (Unit Standards ID – 259597) is designed to assist evacuation wardens, evacuation officers, Evacuation co-ordinators and fire marshalls with emergency evacuation and basic emergency preparedness in the workplace.
Qualifying learners can select and use the appropriate fire-fighting equipment to extinguish or control fires in the workplace. On successful completion, candidates can lead a fire-team.
