Training in the use of firefighting equipment is not required under any legislation unless the organisation has a specific requirement for employees to protect life or property. QuickFire EM can offer two types of training in the use of firefighting equipment.
As a legislative requirement for a safe workplace, Fire & Safety Workplace Training Services site-specific Warden Training will be designed to cater to the needs of all organisations and most importantly save lives.
This course has been designed for individuals who are required to implement an emergency response as specified in the facility emergency procedures or specified by a person at a higher level in the emergency control organisation (ECO).
Participants can attend either one or both of the modules on the day of training and will only receive a Statement of Attainment for the relevant modules’ Unit of Competency. The Fire Warden module must be successfully completed PRIOR to attending the Chief Warden module as it is a pre-requisite
This course gives participants the knowledge and skills to not only control an emergency situation but have an understanding of how the fire safety systems within their building function and a familiarisation of key aspects of the building to be aware of to assist the arriving fire crews.
