Basic Firefighting course is offered by Safety Link. We specialize in the fields of Occupational Health and Safety Training, System Implementation, System Coordinating and Auditing.

Training Outcomes:

• Identify different types of fires.
• Explain and practice fire prevention.
• Operate basic firefighting equipment.
• Perform basic firefighting procedures.Discuss and explain procedures for dealing with fires in the workplace.
• Identify the type of fire, its context and select the appropriate firefighting procedure
• Identify, select and check appropriate firefighting and safety equipment
• Fight containable/extinguishable fires
• Retreat from fire site and hand over to appropriate personnel
• Report/record status of fire and equipment
