The Basic First Aid (BFA) + AED Provider Course enables participants to learn how to determine unresponsiveness, activate emergency medical services as well as perform chest compressions-only CPR and use of AED on adult unconscious casualties.
The Basic First Aid (BFA) + AED Provider Course enables participants to learn how to determine unresponsiveness, activate emergency medical services as well as perform chest compressions-only CPR and use of AED on adult unconscious casualties.
In addition to CPR Skills, this course will also equip participants with first aid knowledge in common medical emergencies.
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive the following certification:
CPR+AED Provider certification accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC), with 2 years validity.
Basic First Aid certificate of attendance issued by ITE.

The course will equip learners with essential knowledge and application skills in providing basic first aid, performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and apply them to their workplace.
The CERT Scheme was expanded to include a broader group of Public and Industrial premises with the amendments to the Fire Safety Act on 14 September 2020. In the updated Fire Safety Act (Chapter 109A), all premises with Fire Safety Managers are required to set up a CERT.
To prepare participants with relevant knowledge and application skills in demonstrating first aid/CPR skills to apply them in their workplace.
This course equips participants with basic first aid knowledge and emphasises on the do(s) and don't(s) of treating victims before a qualified medical team arrives on scene.
The intent of this 1 day course is to develop skills in each participant with regard to performing first aid actions and basic life support techniques and AED at worksite.
