This course is designed to build upon the skills of each student. Students will be introduced to new concepts skills and tactics designed to increase speed, efficiency and accuracy. Students should expect to shoot approximately 500 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation and the law surrounding that confrontation.
This course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local laws, and is for experienced shooters. (shooters must be able to show mastery in basic shooting fundamentals and safe gun handling)
Proof of shooting experience may be required at the discretion of the instructor and can be one of the following:
NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, military DD 214 with pistol qualification, or passing a Pre-Course Assessment.

Having a CCW can speed up the gun-buying process and allow you to carry in multiple locations (as permitted by law), as well as showing that you are trying to be responsible with your firearm by taking a formal class. An AZ CCW is also recognized in most states.
This course will start in the classroom and then will transition to our range for Simulation scenarios. Please DO NOT bring any firarms or ammuniton into the seminar.

Basic Defensive Shotgun is an informational and hands-on class in the use of the modern pump or semi-automatic shotgun as a home defense weapon. A shotgun is an extremely effective, diverse, and psychologically intimidating self-defense weapon. But there are many misconceptions about it.
This class covers firearms safety, State and Federal laws, safe storage, cleaning, parts & operation, shooting fundamentals and how to draw from a holster. There is both a state qualification and a written exam that must be passed to complete this course.
