Students should expect to shoot approximately 500 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation and the law surrounding that confrontation.
This course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local laws, and is for experienced shooters. (shooters must be able to show mastery in basic shooting fundamentals and safe gun handling)
Proof of shooting experience may be required at the discretion of the instructor and can be one of the following:
NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, military DD 214 with pistol qualification, or passing a Pre-Course Assessment.

This is the class required to apply for a License To Carry (LTC) or a Firearms Identification Card (FID) in Massachusetts. Upon completion of this class, you will receive your MA Basic Firearms Certificate and a GAASP Certificate. Taught in conjunction with the LTC, class we offer the GAASP.
This is a follow-up class for Basic of Pistol Shooting (BOPS) and/or most CCW/CHL classes to reinforce the basics of shooting, along with learning to draw from a holster, shoot and re-holster safely.
Firearm fundamentals provides a solid foundation of the basics. It's designed as a starting point to develop the neural pathways and develop muscle memory to build the skills and confidence to handle firearms safely.
This course combines the skills and practices gained in our first two courses (or equivalent training) to round out the trainee as an educated firearm owner, buyer, and marksmen.
This class exceeds the State of Florida Safety Course requirement for the Concealed Carry Weapon Permit application process. Contact the instructor for further informatiin, including group discounts.
