Course Details

Our program is meticulously crafted to boost participant confidence in executing critical cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, particularly within a team setting, and is tailored to professionals who bear the responsibility of timely response.

Our course covers essential components, teaching individuals the crucial steps for conducting a swift assessment, mastering Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and proficiently administering rapid defibrillation, including the proper utilization of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to enhance their expertise by obtaining additional certifications in Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy as complementary components of this comprehensive course.

Audience

Our program caters to a diverse audience, including:

  • In-Facility Care Providers: This encompasses nursing staff, care aides, and medical and dental professionals.

  • Pre-Hospital Care Providers: This group includes professionals from various fields such as the fire service, rescue teams, sports medicine, lifeguards, and ski patrol.

Course Durations

Participants can choose from various course durations based on their needs:

  • Stand-alone course: 4 hours
  • With Airway Management: 5 hours
  • With Oxygen Therapy: 5 hours
  • With Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy: 6 hours

Prerequisites

No prerequisites are required to enroll in this course.

Course Completion

To successfully complete the course, participants must:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in all course skill competencies.
  • Achieve a minimum score of 75% on the written, closed-book knowledge evaluation.
  • Attend and actively participate in 100% of the course.

Certification

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 1-year certification in Basic Life Support, with a digital certificate issued.

Recertification

For recertification, participants are required to dedicate 2 hours.This course is designed for people in or entering into the health care industry.
