This course introduces students to Unix, Linux and the Internet. Students will learn to navigate the Internet, transfer files, communicate with others via electronic mail, and create and maintain World Wide Web pages using Extensible Hypertext Mark-up Language (XHTML).
By the end of this course, users should be comfortable logging into Windows 10, completing basic actions using its user interface, customizing the user interface, understanding its security features, and using both Microsoft Edge and File Explorer.
This course is designed for end users who are familiar with computers and who need to use the features and functionality of the Windows 10 operating system for personal and/or professional reasons.
In this course, students will learn how to support and configure Windows desktops in an organizational environment. Students will develop skills that include learning how to install, customize, and update Windows 10 and later operating systems.
