Basic Photography

I am Dev Singh, a Bangalore based photographer shooting fashion and advertising, specializing in luxury lifestyle. I was born in Indore (M.P.) and developed a love for the art since very early days. After devoting my teenage years in sports and art.

I developed a passion for photography and I started amateur photography.
After serving 10 years in corporate industry, i felt this is not my passion and I decided to quit and joined Shari Academy of Photography Mumbai.

I had taken training under dean of Shari Academy my Guru Mr.Girish Mistry.
And finally I started full time photography business. Years later and here we are. My client list includes name such as Madura Garments, Arvind Brands, Titan Industries, Puma, ONGC, Levi’s, Flipkart, Myntra, Amazon, jabbing, Raymonds and many more Indian and international brands.

My work is defined by an attentive use of light and color, these two are my favorite things. I love spending time evaluating both before a shoot, planning a lighting setup that creates the exact mood I want the Images to convey and colors that enhance that same feeling, all working in one another.

Apart from photographing, I enjoy taking care of the production of my shoots. Using my experience and valuable connections acquired from years in the fashion and beauty industry, I love to carefully evaluate.

Each brand or collection to produce suitable shoot ideas, colors and lighting matching the clients’s values, visuals and objectives. I cast suitable models from top modeling agencies and gather a professional and friendly styling team that will execute the tasks to perfection.

Alongside photo shoot, I have been conducting photography workshops regularly in Bangalore since 2016, mentoring new photographers and enriching knowledge on topics ranging from studio lighting to model.

Direction, from business to retouching. Teaching and meeting new photographers is a true pleasure for me.

We offer photography courses and workshops in Bangalore since 2015. The classes are limited to a very small number of students which almost gives you the equivalent of one - on - one study.[
