The course will study the legal obligations contained within TG20:21, BSEN12811-1 and The Work at Height Regulations 2005 covering the provision and use of scaffolding, the correct terminology and components, and the construction standards required to ensure safe places of work.
The course will study the legal obligations contained within TG20:21, BSEN12811-1 and The Work at Height Regulations 2005 covering the provision and use of scaffolding, the correct terminology and components, and the construction standards required to ensure safe places of work.
The course will also study inspection techniques and the recording procedures necessary to comply with the statutory provisions. A practical scaffold inspection to facilitate inspection techniques is included.
This two day course is designed for managers and supervisors whose duties require them to inspect scaffolding. It is also suitable for those in need of a strong appreciation of scaffold requirements.
