Yak was formed in 1999 by Mr. D.S Yadav with a vision to provide quality education and training to all strata's of society keeping in mind the global changing education requirements and need of society.
The vision is also to encourage masses across the country for education to be able to contribute constructively to society and nation. Special emphasis is laid to bring forward the backward and poor classes.
The aim of the course is to provide basic and mandatory training to seafarers about the safety procedures and accident preventions while working onboard a ship. Because of the vivid atmosphere of the sea in contrast with the land, new persons are trained under this course.
This training is intended to ensure that seafarers are aware of the hazards of working on a vessel and can respond appropriately in an emergency.
The Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain (COX) training, conducted by Elite Offshore, is for anyone working at sea, or dock workers exposed to sea. Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain course is to provide delegates who have a valid Survival certificate (BOSIET), sufficient training to enable them to act as coxswains

STCW course is offered by TCMT ( Trident College Of Maritime Technology) A Saloon Rating after successful completion of pre-sea course, joins vessel as General Steward or Trainee/2nd Cook and subsequently becomes Chief Cook/Chief Steward who is the in-charge of Catering Department.
