Who needs this training?
This course is for workers who work in an industrial environment and are regulated by the 851 industrial regulations.
Why?
Since 2006 40% of workers’ death in construction was caused by falls and 60% of these workers were not using any or poor fall protection equipment when it happened.
WSIB claims that one in every five lost-time injuries are the result of a fall and that most falls are preventable.

Understand the legal responsibilities of employers, workers, and supervisors.
Identify the proper equipment and the right procedures for protection against falls.
Apply fall prevention practices when using ladders, scaffolds, covers, guardrails etc.
Identify equipment hazards, and perform maintenance and inspection of equipment.
