  • Pascal Tourigny Pascal has always loved music. When he was younger, he played back some pieces on the piano by ear. But it was at the age of 14, with the discovery of the guitar, that a real passion was born. With the guidance of his older brother, he first learned pieces by great composers on a classical guitar. He also explored popular songs and learned the chords on the Beatles, Beau Dommage, Cat Stevens et cie… Then, at 16 he bought an electric guitar and began a period of long hair and loud music that would carry him for a few years. years. He explored groups like Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera, in short everything that ended with "a" !! Along with his studies (DEC and BAC in administration) Pascal was part of several groups. He took part in several musical projects including a tribute to the Harmonium Heptad, “cover” shows, weddings, country evenings and others… Then the taste for blues and jazz developed and Pascal decided to study music in Sherbrooke to deepen his musical knowledge and explore improvisation. Based in Sherbrooke since 1998, he began teaching in various private music schools in the region. Discovering a passion for teaching, he founded the Sherbrooke guitar school in 2003. Since then, he has surrounded himself with a team of teachers as devoted and experienced as himself to help hundreds of guitarists to surpass themselves through their musical journey. Pascal completed his BAC in Jazz performance in 2006.
