BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile

This course deals with two important questions: Why should I choose agile? How can I implement it? More specifically we will explore the frameworks available and discuss which ones you should consider based on your needs.

Our trainer will answer these questions over 2 days, leaving you with a much better understanding of agile and its principles.

• What led to the development of the Agile Manifesto and principles

• The rationale and benefits of agile

• How the agile pillars shape your development process

• Common agile roles, techniques and practices

• The differences between agile implementations and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)

Scrum Alliance

15 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) towards your CSP (Certified Scrum Professional) to all successful candidates.

Project Management Institute (PMI):
This course provides 16 PDUs (Professional Development Units).

Prerequisites

This course has no set pre-requisites and is valuable for all experience levels.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for all members of the software development cycle including developers, testers, product and project managers, ScrumMasters, Product Owners, business analysts and agile coaches.

Exam

At the end of this 2-day course you will be ready to take the BCS Agile Foundation exam and get your certification. The examination will be a 1-hour multiple-choice test administered at the end of the second day.

After successfully passing the exam you will receive your BCS Agile Foundations certificate and a 1-year membership to BCS.
