Treadle Yard Goods is a full service fabric store specializing in natural fiber fabrics for apparel. We carry a well-curated collection of fabrics not found elsewhere - silk, wool, linen, rayon, cotton, and bridal laces.
They will learn how to create the fashion projects from IDEAs to FINISHED clothes. Â During the lessons our young designers will take the measurements, create the designs, make the patterns and learn the sewing technology.
Serging is a quick easy way of sewing and can do almost everything a sewing machine can do except button holes. The serger will give a professional look with cottons, knits and fine silks fabrics easily.
B’nae will take you to step by step to create texture, richness, and dimension with free-motion quilting. Make your quilt blocks POP with Free motion nature shapes, geometrics, and oodles of doodles!
Each student will learn new skills as they work through projects of their choosing. We have many project options available at every level or you can bring your own ideas. Students work to try new techniques, build skills and gain independence with the guidance of the instructor.
In this class you will learn the basics of sewing in a way that most other beginner classes will not cover. You will complete a fitting pair of pants, with pockets and elastic waist.
