Behaviour Based Safety

Behavioral safety is the behavioral research on human performance to the problems of safety in the workplace. This means any safety program labeling itself as a behavioral safety program must meet the standards required as behavior analytic research and practices are applied to the workplace and is a positive approach toward safe work culture. Bbs is important due to 80% of all accidents occur due to the decision and short cut we tried and how we act. 

Human unsafe act is one of the major root cause for most incidents. Behavior based safety training is to influence employee's actions toward safety also in understanding the unsafe act.
