Course Details

This American Heart Association course teaches high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants, along with the Chain of Survival for Healthcare Professionals.  

The important early use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants is emphasized.

Prerequisite:

  • Students must bring the 2020 BLS for Healthcare Providers textbook to class AND be cleared to come to campus by having both COVID vaccines.
