As a firm we can trace our history back to the early 20th Century through a variety of predecessor firms. However, we don’t dwell on the past, we like to look forward.
This course will give you a full introduction into bookkeeping and will help you progress onto higher level accountancy courses to become a fully qualified Bookkeeper, or provide you with the skills to manage your accounts for your own business.
This course delivers a solid foundation in finance administration – covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles and using accounting software.
Students completing this qualification will develop an understanding of the role of the bookkeeper, including the need to produce timely and accurate work and to follow ethical principles. Daytime and evening classes will be available, and there will be multiple start dates through the year.
These two units assume no previous bookkeeping experience and teach the rules of double entry. By the end of these units you will be able to process business transactions and create a set of accounting records to produce a Trial Balance.
Preparing you for the AAT Level 2 course. Delivers a solid foundation in double entry bookkeeping to trial balance for those wishing to explore the possibility of an accounting career. This course is available either as a 1 day course, or by attending for 2 evenings.
