They range from beginner level general language training courses to highly specialised professional skills courses aimed at equipping participants with the necessary language skills required to interact and work effectively in the globalised world.
Over the years, we have delivered communication skills courses and cultural awareness programmes to high school students and undergraduates from Japan and conducted workplace communication courses for staff from organisations in Singapore and in the region.
In order to meet the needs and expectations of learners and clients in today’s world, we can deliver live online courses using Zoom, online blended learning courses using Zoom and our learning management system, or face-to-face in a classroom at RELC or in a client’s premises.

Our Role with the Region
The Regional Language Centre, an educational project of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, is located in Singapore. Since it began operations in July 1968, SEAMEO RELC has worked to develop and support language education in the countries of Southeast Asia. The members of SEAMEO are: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. Associate members are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Kingdom of Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain and United Kingdom.

Our Leadership
The Centre is a not-for-profit regional institution administered by a Centre Director under the overall policy direction of the Governing Board. The Board is composed of one representative from each member country appointed by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Council on the recommendation of the Minister of Education of each country.

The Business English General is a multi-level speaking course, developed with the Financial Times. To facilitate speaking practice, topics are based on great interest for everyone involved in international business, while reflecting the latest trends in the business world with case studies.
The Communication Business English course is designed for working executives, professionals and anyone who wants to enhance their business communication skills, and develop fluency and accuracy in an English language business environment.
At English Explorer, we offer Business English lessons in Singapore that cater to both beginner and advanced levels. We have a total of 10 levels to complete, with each group having two terms of 10 class lessons to be completed.
The course aims to improve students’ communication skills in a business environment such as making presentations, writing emails, talking on the telephone and contributing in meetings.
