Students will gain exposure to the basic principles of Canadian business law through legal topics such as constitutional, tort, contract, property, corporate and employment law.
Our History
Capilano University was founded as a college in 1968, with an initial enrolment of just over 700 students. Its founding was part of an effort in the 1960s to expand access to post-secondary education in British Columbia.

A basic understanding of key elements of the law is an essential factor in successful business management.
You will study forms of business organizations, with specific concentration on non-offering Ontario and federal corporations.
Students are introduced to the law and practice of financing corporations in Canada.
