Course Details

For businesses to execute a compelling and inspiring vision, businesses need a developed strategy, detailed plans and frameworks to socialise the message throughout the organisation.

In this session, participants use the Business Model Canvas to distill what the core business is before devising and implementing an operational plan. Over the course of the day, we workshop the real time creation of an Operational plan, Risk identification analysis and Contingency plan.

We will discuss how to set meaningful goals and objectives as well as how to measure how closely these have been achieved. Participants will learn how to use the Balance Scorecard to measure business’ strategic performance and identify where there are any gaps and misalignment with the plan. Having knowledge of how to apply this concept allows business leaders to put in place the necessary corrections should they not be on track.

Participants will walk away with experience in using all of the above tools, as well as how to have a structured brainstorm using the Herringbone diagram. All of these tools are designed to be implemented back in the workplace to devise a firm business structure on which to build success.

This course appeals to aspiring, emerging and current leaders as well as business owners and specialists. There is an optional qualification upgrade available.

This course is often delivered in two half-days instead of one full day.
