Business Skills

This is a Level 1 introductory qualification for those who will benefit from learning basic accounting techniques, including single-entry bookkeeping, as well as gaining a broader understanding of the business environment.

The AAT Access Award offers students at Level 1 the opportunity to develop key practical skills used in every business as a route into employment. This qualification will particularly suit those students with minimal work experience or those who require additional support to progress. 

This qualification consists of three units with one assessment at the end of the course. These units include: 

• Preparing for Work
• Using Numbers in Business
• Sales & Purchases in Business
