The Level one cake decorating classes is a 3-hour class that meets once a week for seven weeks - for a total of 21 hours of instruction. The class price does not include the cost of supplies.
Level 1 Classes (Beginners)
This is a seven week series where the student makes a total of four cakes.
By the end of this class the student will have learned a several borders and flowers and other cake decorating basics. a total of four cakes will be made by the student.

This course is designed and taught to the same exact California Career Technical Education Standards that have launched countless successful careers in Baking and Cake Decorating.Â

Join us for a half-day baking and building your own layer cake from start to finish! In this workshop you'll make a light and fluffy chocolate cake and learn how to cut, stack and crumb coat it. You'll also learn how to make a luscious Swiss meringue buttercream and a tangy cream cheese buttercream
You will learn recipes and techniques for baking tender cakes and whipping up a gorgeous buttercream you’ll use time and again. We’ll teach you the art of frosting a cake, along with some simple but impressive decorating techniques.
