We are particularly keen to support colleagues who have faced additional barriers to career progression and hold protected characteristics that are currently underrepresented at senior levels in the university. To support this aim we will initially promote these to our staff networks, before opening them up more widely to non-academic staff*.
You will hear career stories from colleagues who will share their own journeys, challenges and successes and provide some takeaway tips and inspiration that may help you shape your own.
There will opportunities to reflect on some of your strengths and how you can use these towards achieving your career goals. We will also guide you through the university’s range of career development resources and support available to you.
