Core Skills: You will gain core skills in areas of individualised support, communication, cultural diversity, legal and ethical requirements, safe work practices, knowledge of healthy body systems and supporting independence and wellbeing.
Specialisations: You will specialise in disability by undertaking specific training related to empowerment of older people, dementia, empowerment of a person with a disability, community participation and social inclusion, person centred behaviour supports and contributing to ongoing skills development using a strengths based approach, through the elective units included in the qualification.
