Continuation of studies
This program can be part of a multidisciplinary baccalaureate . Several certificate courses could be recognized if you wish to complete a bachelor's degree in the art and science of animation . The certificate allows you to increase the quality of your visual file, a major element in support of your admission to the baccalaureate.
Mandatory equipment
The student must possess or acquire IT equipment (computer and software) equivalent to or superior to the standards set by the program management. This requirement changes each year, so we advise students to wait until they are admitted before purchasing materials.

The School's History
The École des beaux-arts de Québec was founded in 1922. This exciting Digital Animation class provides our students with the opportunity to create a 5-minute short film. Our skilled instructor will teach students the fundamentals to stop motion animation, including storyboarding, material selection, and stop motion movement techniques and procedures.
In this activity youth learn how to animate their own stop-motion videos. Using a variety of different artistic medias and Ipads , participants learn how to properly take photos and assemble them into short animated videos.
