This course is ideal for anyone working in a small business or who wishes to re-train as a book-keeper. It is also perfect for those with theoretical book-keeping knowledge who wish to gain practical experience to reinforce their knowledge.
Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping students must study Introduction to Bookkeeping first, before starting Principles of Bookkeeping Controls.
The course consists of two modules: Bookkeeping Transactions and Bookkeeping Controls and you will be required to successfully complete and achieve both modules in order to receive the Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping.
Bookkeeping is the first step of the accounting process, and often bookkeepers will assist in preparing work for the accountants. Accountants will then interpret, analyse and report on the information.
Awarded by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping will give you a solid introduction to bookkeeping and basic accounting practices to give you confidence in the workplace.
