Education is the passport to great opportunities in life. The prognosis of an adult life is often highly dependent on the quality of education in pre-education and ensuing years of education.
Several studies have shown that the early years of a child’s life are critical windows of development in all aspects, including intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
Early educational services to children with special needs will enhance their developmental abilities to their maximum potential with the chance of improving their independent living.
Special needs individuals are at a much higher risk to be significantly unemployed and underemployed upon leaving school compared to their peers who do not have disabilities. Hence, students with special needs are likely to benefit from additional educational services such as different approaches to teaching, use of technology, or specifically adapted teaching areas.
What You Will Learn
From identification to management and development, early intervention is crucial for the growth and development of children with special needs.
By understanding their challenges and implementing strategic interventions, we can help maximise their potential and improve their chances of independent living.
In this course, you will be taught interventions that are designed to help children with special needs learn skills that will help them achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school and in their community.

Positive psychology is an emerging branch of applied psychology that combines the essentials of conventional schools of thought with modern methods.
It exclusively deals with positive emotions, positive individual traits and positive institutions. Being highly relevant and applicable to your daily life, positive psychology can help you help yourself and others around you.
It is scientifically proven that happier people with positive emotions and traits are more productive as they think faster, more creative, healthier, more successful, caring and more socially engaged.
