Emmy nominated celebrity makeup artist Salpie Tatka, Owner and Program Director of MAXIMA School of Makeup Artistry, has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry.

She has been featured on several news channels in makeup related segments. She has worked with numerous actors such as: Luke Perry, Dennis Quaid, Kenton Duty, Lochlyn Munro, Julia Child, Lori Petty and John Cryer, to name a few. 

Salpie holds degrees in Fashion Design and Marketing. Salpie was based in L.A. prior to moving to Arizona and establishing the first Post-Secondary Makeup Artistry School in 2006.

In addition to training hundreds of students in MAXIMA’s elite program who have become successful makeup artists, her impeccable reputation and network allows her graduates greater opportunities to succeed in the industry.
