The Certified Public Accountant qualification is the highest accounting credential in the US and is similar to the CA qualification in India. The qualification is offered by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and administered at the state level. CPA is universally recognized and well-accepted globally.

Topics & Exam Details :

The CPA exam is a CBT available on demand offered in the US 8 Months in a year. The examination comprises of 4 Parts and is 60 % Objective and 40% Simulations.

• Part 1: Financial Accounting & Reporting,- applying US GAAP for businesses, not-forprofits, and government entities 
• Part II: Auditing & Attestation,- auditing procedures and auditing standards under US GAAP and other standards related to attest engagements
• Part Ill: Regulation,-  comprehension of federal taxation, ethics, professional and legal responsibilities, and business law
• Part IV: Business Environment & Concepts, - business reasons for transactions and their accounting implications, IT  Fundamentals, Costing, Internal Auditing Standards
