This skill set consists of three accredited units:
CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
CHCPRT002 Support the rights and safety of children and young people
CHCPRT003 Work collaboratively to maintain an environment safe for children and young people
Wesley Vocational Institute (RTO Code 90091) develops and delivers training programs to support the community services industry. The process we follow is one of close consultation with individuals, organisations and community groups to prepare our learners to be workplace ready.
Two separate programs are offered, a junior secondary program for students aged 10-14Â aligned to the Australian Curriculum and a senior secondary program for students aged 10-19.
The Statement of Attainment in CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk qualification meets the Education and Care Services National Regulations requirements
The program of Diploma in Childcare and education course will qualify the individuals to take on the charge of supervisory roles in child care sector. The enrolled students will be able to plan, design, and implement ideas for the learning and development of children.
To work in child care you must have, or be actively working towards, at least a Certificate III qualification.
