This course also provides an understanding of the legal requirements and duties of the employer that will enable improved contribution to the instruction, supervision and monitoring to ensure to the safe delivery of Health & Safety on site.

The problems of the construction industry.
How to carry out Risk Assessments and Method Statements and importance.
The importance of timely intervention when bad practice is identified.
How to carry out effective site inductions, tool box talks and method statement briefings.

Assessment: There will be exercises during the course, at the end of the course candidates will take a multiple-choice examination with results given on the day and a tutor review will also be undertaken.
