DurationPresentation of the Ballet du Québec The Ballet du Québec was inaugurated in 2005 following a reorganization of the Compagnie Christiane Bélanger, itself founded in 2001, in order to bring together the necessary means for the development of the practice, creation and the dissemination of professional-caliber works in classical ballet in Quebec City.

Ballet is a classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement. Classical ballet is based on traditional ballet technique and vocabulary.
The program encourages the love of music and dance while inspiring imagination and stimulating creativity. This practical learning experience fosters participation, artistry, imagination and self-assurance, in a very enjoyable, child- centered atmosphere.
There is a strong focus on proper technique, body alignment, terminology, and both traditional and current ballet techniques. Ballet is a beautiful and challenging form of dance that develops and enhances technique, poise, grace, and strength.
Ballet dance class is offered by Xpressions Creative Dance. At Xpressions Creative Dance, we are dedicated to providing a family oriented dance studio, where our caring and qualified staff create an environment for dancers to Xpress themselves.Â
Our ballet teen classes provide a unique opportunity for teens and pre-teens who want to train in ballet but have limited or no experience in the discipline.
