Cloud Computing Basics (AWS Academy)

The Cloud Architecture program is an AWS Academy program designed to help participants use core AWS services and prepare them for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification exam.

This program includes courses from accredited instructors, training guides, knowledge assessments, hands-on workshops, a practice exam for certification, and a discount coupon for the certification exam. Please note that the certification exam is not included in this training.

Educational Goals:

• Define the AWS cloud and overall core infrastructure;
• Explain the basic architectural principles of the AWS cloud;
• Describe the AWS Cloud value proposition;
• Describe the key services of the AWS platform and their common use cases (computation, analysis, etc.);
• Describe the basic security and compliance aspects of the AWS platform and the shared security model;
• Define billing, account management and pricing models;
• Identify sources of documentation or technical assistance (e.g. white papers or support tickets);
• List the basic/essential characteristics of deployment and execution in the AWS cloud.

Methodology:

• Several learning methods and didactic tools allowing you to measure your progress and your integration of concepts by participants are used throughout the training.
