The course is designed for beginners as well as experienced welders. The course will allow learners to progress their MAG / MIG welding skills and undertake a recognised NC unit from an SQA Qualification.
The course is designed for beginners as well as experienced welders. The course will allow learners to progress their MAG / MIG welding skills and undertake a recognised NC unit from an SQA Qualification. The course will end with a BS 4872 coded welding test, this can be in MAG / MIG or another process depending on the learners experience.
Benefits Of Attending:
On completion of the course, candidates will be able to perform basic welding tasks, manage equipment to a competent standard and have a general understanding of health & safety procedures.
This course will contain 2 welding tests. The first will be to attain a recognised SQA NC unit in MIG / MAG Welding skills and the second will be a BS 4872 CSWTO Accredited welding qualification at an appropriate level for the candidate’s ability, such as a MAG PB Fillet weld on 6mm plate. (This will be assessed on completion of the course)
