Coder Sports educational programs allow kids to learn coding the way they play sports – practice, coaching, and games. “Coder Athletes” attend one hour practice sessions where they work with a Coder Coach on programming lessons and personal development projects.

Coder Coaches closely monitor their development, providing immediate support and guidance during learn to code practices sessions. We align all our coding classes with the Ontario Mathematics (2020) curriculum to ensure your child’s coding tutoring sessions at Coder Sports help them progress successfully at school.
Of course for most kids, practices are only worthwhile when they prepare you for the game! Coder Athletes work on projects during practice, and then get an opportunity to show their software programming accomplishments during our regularly scheduled Tournaments, GameJams, CodaThons, and HackaThons where we come together as community.
At Coder Sports Academy we teach kids to code in Java, Python, Lua, JavaScript and more. Coding skills are increasingly required in all fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) – help your child get a jumpstart on the future!
Once students have fully understood all the fundamentals of Python, they will learn how to apply the concepts to create practical projects. The projects created are done by developing applications using external libraries. The topics covered in this course are Game Development and Data Analyzing.
Learn how to build fun and interactive 3D video game environments powered by the Unreal Game Engine. They will design and populate massive worlds with epic landscapes, rocky terrains, and destructible objects using AAA tools developed by Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite.
Computer Coding classes are offered by Stem Play for kids. While moving through the engineering design process from idea to implementation, kids work independently and collaboratively to solve complex, real-world problems creating rich and immersive learning experiences.
The ability to code computer programs is an important part of literacy in today’s society. When people learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas.
Robokids challenges students to develop critical thinking and engages them in innovative robotics projects. We offer a range of robotics courses for kids of ages 4 through 14. Learning continues beyond our classes to day camps, robotics parties, and after-school programs.
