From the importance of keeping the house neat and tidy to the basic mannerism and being initiative at work, we drill down the nitty gritty details of maintaining the house in tip top condition.
The maids get to try their hand at using all the commonly used household appliance without the fear of spoiling it, understand certain do’s & don’ts of household cleaning, and more importantly learning to observe and understand their respective employers’ standard of cleaning.

Island Maids Training School is dedicated to training Maids to excel in their job. We are also an Approved Training Partner of the Caregiver Training Grant (GTG) conducting approved courses at a subsidised rate.
sland Maids Training School is dedicated to training Foreign Domestic Workers (FDWs) & Caregivers to excel in their jobs and caregiving roles.
Using the feedbacks and observations gathered through our many years of experience in the Industry, we tailored our training programs are to meet the local requirements and expectations of Domestic Employers.
We are also an Approved Training Partner of the Caregiver Training Grant (GTG) conducting approved Elder Care courses at a subsidised rate. This is to equip the Caregivers with the right skill and mindset for taking on a rather challenging role of a Caregiver.
We strongly believe that through structured training and proper guidance, the Maids or Caregivers will be in a much better position to excel in their role whether they are experienced or not.
In addition, we strive to provide ongoing support for our students should they require any during the course of their work or caregiving role.
Our Mission
We aim to greatly improve the domestic employment and caregiving success rate, reducing the stress & financial burden to the domestic employers & caregivers.
We offer a series of training classes for domestic helpers who are inexperienced in cleaning, washing and household maintenance.
After undergoing Level 1 – Foundation English, participants are encouraged to advance to Level 2. This level is designed to focus on helping learners to adopt proper conversation at work. Learners will have opportunities to practice in each unit, so that they become more confident and skillful.
KWSH is delivering the course in partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Classes are conducted to give Hands-on training in housework using modern equipment such as usage of vacuum cleaner, washing machine, and related knowledge in maintaining household furniture and appliances etc.
