This course is aimed at persons working in confined spaces which have non-standard entries and which, in consequence, makes rescue difficult. It is likely that a hazard will be present at some time during the entry and will entail the use of self-contained open circuit breathing apparatus.
The advanced level of the course is designed for those who will be responsible for planning and executing confined space entries. It covers advanced topics such as the use of advanced ventilation techniques to control atmospheric hazards, the use of rescue equipment, and the development of emergency response plans.
