The Confined Space training Program applies to any private or public department that has space(s) that may potentially be hazardous when entered. A confined space is one configured so that a person can fully enter and work, but is not designed for continuous human occupancy and has restricted.

A confined space is one configured so that a person can fully enter and work, but is not designed for continuous human occupancy and has restricted or limited means of entry or exit.
Confined spaces may contain hazardous/toxic and flammable gas & fumes that can injure workers or quickly lead to death by means of inhalation or fire explosion during hot work like welding, cutting, grinding etc. Untrained and ill-equipped rescuers can easily become victims themselves. Examples of confined spaces at UW may include, but aren’t limited to:
ISDC - Industrial Safety Development Council established in the year 2008 with the prime aim to impart Safety training among the workers and staffs exposed to various unchecked occupational hazards and risk of fatal accidents at their workplace.
Our goal also includes train the safety professionals that enables them with skills and knowledge to act with confidence and competence to respond to the accidents.
