Confined Space Safety Training

The SSG WSQ Perform Work in Confined Space Operation (PWICSO) is one of the core units in all process sectors of Process Industry.

To enter into any confined space, you need to be trained and competent. You must know the hazards and the controls of working safely in a confined space. Even if you are not entering a confined space, but you are working as a confined space attended, you will need to be trained and competent. This Perform Work in Confined Space Course is the mandated course for entry or work in confined spaces

Course Outline for Perform Work in Confined Space Operation for the SSG WSQ Perform Work in Confined Space Operation are:

• PWICSO Identify duties and responsibilities of all personnel involved in confined space work under the WSH Legislations and Code of Practice.
• PWICSO Identify confined space hazards
• PWICSO Use Gas Detection Instruments for atmospheric monitoring
• PWICSO Comply with Permit-to-Work system and safe work procedures when working in confined space
• PWICSO Participate in an Emergency for confined space
