Professional anger management services in Hertfordshire
HAMA is the professional centre of expertise in anger management, stress management and conflict resolution in Hertfordshire. We work with individuals and groups as well as education and healthcare providers in the private and public sector.
Not expressing our anger causes it to grow, intensify and spread to anyone and anything that gets in the way. Expressing our anger destructively causes harm to ourselves and others, leaving us feeling dissatisfied and isolated, and in extreme cases in trouble with the law.
Often, we harm the ones we love - wives, husbands, children, family and friends - as well as causing problems in our workplace.
It is important that we learn to acknowledge that we are angry and understand what triggered our anger in the first place. We often react in anger before we stop and think, and then find ourselves having to deal with what can be very painful consequences.
The Beating Anger programme
The Beating Anger programme is the first step in learning how to make a change. The Beating Anger programme is designed for people with all levels of anger problems. We concentrate on supporting participants in defining their relationship with anger.
The Beating Anger programme includes a combination of anger management theory, experiential processes and facilitated support. These tried and tested techniques have been proven to be highly successful.
