This photography class is for students who want to learn how to take more beautiful and meaningful pictures. Each class will introduce a different photography topic followed by a fun hands-on assignment.
Students will explore the aesthetic qualities of taking photos in automatic and manual mode and experiment with different camera settings and composition techniques to communicate an idea, mood, moment, sense of time, or movement to tell a story.
Students will shoot on the IPad and use digital imaging software to edit and enhance images and assemble a digital portfolio. We will review photos as a group and discuss the feeling, message or meaning of images and the artistic choices that emphasize it.
