Writing is everywhere. From the films we watch, the TV we stream and the books we read, to the social media posts we write, the marketing pitches that surround us and the news stories we receive across print and digital formats. Increasingly too, that writing is not produced by people, but by AI.
On this course we’ll help you to enhance your skills as a creative writer and gain experience of writing in a wide range of different styles and genres.
We welcome students who are enthusiastic about their creative writing, committed to developing existing strengths and excited about cultivating new ones. You will learn from successful published writers and join a creative and passionate community of writers.
This course is for anyone with a basic understanding of creative writing or that has completed one of our introductory courses, going deeper into the details of storytelling and narrative techniques over a 10-week period.
This workshop is about how we can use art to engage with community activity. Participants will experiment with a variety of artistic materials to explore ideas in an open, relaxed environment.
