Creative Writing is a project-based course that focuses on developing the writing process and helping young writers gain confidence and to develop their writing voice across different genres and styles; including poetry, fiction, drama, and non-fiction.
Students will learn how to compose, revise, edit, and workshop their writing. They will also complete an independent project and/or portfolio.
Regina Christian School, in partnership with the home and Church, will provide a Christ-centered education equipping students spiritually, academically, and physically to pursue a life of Godly character for service to the Lord Jesus Christ and others.

A study and practice of creative writing, including poetry, fiction, and/or creative non-fiction, in a workshop environment driven by writing exercise and peer review.
Students should improve their writing skills throughout the course
This course covers developing story ideas, pitching, researching, reporting and non-fiction writing for publication in print or online
In this course, student study and apply the fundamental techniques of writing fiction and poetry.
