This is a follow-up class for Basic of Pistol Shooting (BOPS) and/or most CCW/CHL classes to reinforce the basics of shooting, along with learning to draw from a holster, shoot and re-holster safely.
DurationThis is a follow-up class for Basic of Pistol Shooting (BOPS) and/or most CCW/CHL classes to reinforce the basics of shooting, along with learning to draw from a holster, shoot and re-holster safely.
Classroom portion will be integrated on the range beginning with a review of BOPs and then learning the steps to load and make ready, draw from the holster, fire, fix malfunctions and return the gun to your holster with dry fire exercises.
We will also be loading your magazine to malfunction for you to practice under slightly stressful conditions.
PREREQUSITES:
There will be a brief skills assessment to ensure you can safely fire your pistol to engage in live-fire activities for this course.

As a woman, I had always tried to keep aware of my surroundings, but when I began to take classes on "Situation Awareness" and "Preparing for the Fight" I realized I was beginning to feel a passion build to teach others, especially women, that it is okay to be prepared, okay to carry a gun responsibly, okay to defend their families if necessary.
As we train people I can see that in their minds, "we get it" and quite honestly, "if they can do it, I can do it". Watching that realization dawn on people as we train them, empowers them with a confidence and responsibility that most have never experienced. That makes me super excited to reach even more people.

This course will start in the classroom and then will transition to our range for Simulation scenarios. Please DO NOT bring any firarms or ammuniton into the seminar.

This CCW course is designed as a New Shooter Course, meeting State requirements to obtain your Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. This course will be conducted by a certified professional firearms instructor. A certificate will be awarded to participants at the course end.
