You will need a form that is smaller than required size (but not too small unless cutting a corset pattern), a decent amount of wadding, long pins, s few meters of stretch jersey and a few meters of calico (amount of calico is dependent on pattern you want to cut) A full list of notions and quantities is available on request.
We are incredibly passionate about sewing and about enabling you to sew with confidence. We are also good at taking the strain off you so you can have a garment that fits and performs well (either with us altering it for you or us showing you how to do it for yourself).
Our after school sessions are for those teens (13+) who want their own style, or who are bored with hand sewing and want to extend their skills.
Plush Designer Cushion classes are offered by Sewing Centre for all skill level. There are in-store classes available in small groups catering to a range of sewing abilities including beginners and the more advanced sewers.
