National Fire Safety Institute is owned & governed by Labour Employment & Environment Development Council to impart training in fire management, industrial safety and disaster management and its allied subjects.

It also imparts various skill development programmes such as Basic Computer Education, Driving, Swimming, English Improvement Course, Civil Defence, Disaster Management, First Aid etc., along with the regular fire and safety courses to enable and empower the trainees to use these skills as and when needed in their future career which is included in course module at No-Profit Basis
