Defensive Driving is an entry-level course that teaches workers how to better avoid road hazards. The only prerequisite is a driver’s license. This course may be helpful for any worker, particularly those who have received traffic tickets, demerit points, or been involved in traffic accidents.
The program will verify proficiency in the knowledge and understanding of, as well as, the practical application to emergency vehicle driving as per NFPA 1002 Standard on Fire Apparatus Driver Operator Professional Qualifications.
Our Safe Driving Training Course will explain in detail key points of safe driving to consider. The course will guide participants through safe driving aspects, from basic driver safety and vehicle safety, to hazards and controls.
Our Defensive Driving course explores the six components of the SAFER System of defensive driving: Space, Attitude, Foresight, Eyesight, and Responsibility.
TDG training is offered by First Aid And Safety Training. Anyone who handles, ships, receives, transports or offers a consignment for transport requires dangerous goods training under federal law.Â
